In script for CDN 1960 I am trying to give the option to put a call to a specific mailbox.

ROUTE CALL 4198
- Doesn't work, goes to our attendants mailbox instead!?!?. I have created a VSDN for 4198 and mailbox Etc, oh and even a 4198 phantom DCFW to 7000

GIVE IVR 7100 WITH TREATMENT 4198
- This gives dead air, how do i check what our mail access DN is, 7000 is what i would dial to get voicemail on my phone, Access ports in SCCS is 7100, again 4198 is a VSDN - mailbox

Try this.

1. create a phantom TN, DCFW to the MM messaging DN
2. create mb - same number as DN on phantom TN and add the CDN number to the extension DN field
3. in the script: ROUTE CALL to the phantom

What was your VSDN entry? It should have been 4198 EM(Express Message) XXXX where XXXX equals the mailbox number.

Then you just give treatment to the VSDN entry.

Yep I have a VSDN enrty of 4198 --> EM 4198

Can anybody confirm that my Mail access DN will be the same within Symposium to what it is when i dial it from my phone ie 7000??

Thanks

IVE IVR 7100 WITH TREATMENT 4198

Okay you should have 3 sets of ports.

One set for regular access for users.

One set for Give IVR functionality

One set for Broadcast and enhanced fuctions like digit collection. (Open Voice Sessions)

It sound like you are trying to use an access port to provide Give IVR treatments.
