This system is V9 3550 and I have and IVM card that does not answer with a voice. I deleted the EVM ports software looks good I can see the card in the map and when you call an extension in the group it rings in connects but no voice. This is a new install did i miss something on the initial boot up all Open stage phones work with no problem. Any ideas. BTW if I delete the IVM ports and put the EVM ports back the EVM answers.

what slot have you installed the IVM card. it should be installed in slot 5

Hum I have it in slot 9, I will flip it Monday and let you know. Thanks

sorry, the 3550 can have it in slots 5,7,9. is the green light running, does the ivm download when taking down the database?
is this a new card?

yes this is a brand new everything.Yes the light is on not sure what you mean taking down the database.

when using the manager tool to transfer data base to pc for programming

Yes when i pull a KDS yes i do get the IVM info.I do remember something a while back on the 150'S when i was with Siemens with the IVM and something about the way it needs to start up for the first time.

Hi,

The new IVM can take an eternity to start for the first time. Have you left the system running overnight? It does sound like it is running though because your call is answered. Can you get in to the IVM programming through manintenance? maybe it is missing a language file...

I have a doc somewhere on setting up the new units. I'll hunt it out and have a read later.
