ITO version A.06.00

Hello,
I am installing ITO version A.06.00 on HP-UX 11.0. I have selected2 bundles, B7490AA and ITOEngDoc. The installation went very smooth. When I verify the ITO installation using "/opt/OV/bin/OpC/opcagt -status", I do not see the Event Correlation Agent running.

I tried manually starting up using command "opceca", it gives me error "Can't open configuration file /var/opt/OV/config/OpC/ec" and indeed I do not have the ec file.

Please tell me what went wrong?

I'm not sure of the environment in which you run ITO, but I can provide two simple suggestions...

1. Install ITOEngOraAll --> which you may not be doing because of space constraints(??), but I have found this to be the cleanest way to get all that you would need from an ITO installation.

2. Remount the ITO A.06.00 cd and investigate the bundles to locate the event corrolation package that you are missing.

Someone else may have a better solution for you, but hope this helps a little. ITO can also integrate third party ec applications such as NerveCenter, if you are familiar with that tool.
