Issues with Upgrading OS?

Greetings~

We've been running E2K3 for several months now, on a W2K member server. Our DCs are running W2K3 Server and now it's time to upgrade the mail server.

Any issues that I should be aware of before doing the upgrade?

I would recomend that you do a new hardware installation if at all possible instead of upgrading. If you can't, then make sure you are running SP4 (should be already) and cross your fingers.

I would back-up the information store. Blow the server away and start with a fresh install of Windows 2K3 server.

Then join the Domain, install Exchange 2K3 and restore your information store.

You will probably save time in the long run since you will end up going down that road anyway following the the problems you will have post upgrade.
