Issues with R11.0.4.3 2

So i'm not sure how many others have these issues and if there are any work arounds that youve all found. updated to 11.0.4.3 , all examples use SIP trunk and either ip or sip endpoints all digital phones seem to work fine, and now:

- some sites have issues with sbm 24's (on a 9611g) going blank when more than one call comes in to the phone.

- SCN cant be built because h323 gatekeeper will not stay on after ip office line is built * i created a h323 phone, though it's all j179
phones on the control unit, and that seems to have caused the gatekeeper to stay enabled after reboot and scn is now up.

- calls that are placed on hold will just drop if put on hold to take another call, this seems to be random on J179 with one JEM sidecar.

I know it's normally not a good idea to use latest release on production but the above sites are part of different clients that have multi-site setups (SCN) and i read that 4.2 had problems with discovering users over an scn so i took the plunge and went to latest. if anyone has any updates on release of 4.4, other than what's on site saying July, that would be great to know. hopefully it doesnt bring more issues than 4.3, do any of you all run a scn with 4.2 and not have any issues?

The latest release is R11.1. which you can read the release note to see if the issues you have over there. I have customers running on r11.0.4.2 and they are ok. The issue you are referring to is for the scn on R11.4.2 is when you open the Manager software. The Manager can not detect the SCNed sites so you can open them at once. instead you will need to open each site individually. but the scn between the IPO system are working ok.

You will need to get out your monitor and get some logs, especially look at the SCN's up and down issues.

1. Are the SCN's staying up when the call goes blank?
2. Create a H323 extension to fix this, I have seen this issue before.
3. Change the On hold timeout system wide.

Sorry for late reply, you were right about creating the h323 user. I created it and even though no 96xx on the system it keeps the gatekeeper active and everything works fine.
