We are moving from 2008 phones to 3904 on a 61C system. In the past we’ve always used SCR for extensions. One SCR for the agent’s extension and then a rollover SCR that was non-dialable from the outside. A co-worker within the company introduced me to MCR which makes much more sense to use so you aren’t eating up DN’s.
I setup 2 phones using new (to me) MCR keys instead of SCR. But for some reason, the MWI will not go on. I deacquired, outed the old phonesets from OTM, synced with the PBX, and then recreated the new phones with the same TN’s and DN’s and re-acquired. Both phones’s MWI will not illuminate. I’ve tried forcing it with a MsgInd key on my phone, nothing. When I do a print of the DN, it only shows up for the TN that I just created. MWI in CallPilot still is pointing to the same DN.
There’s no ERR4019 showing up on the terminal when I leave a message. I’ve tried flashing the phones with newer firmware (089). Tried different 3904’s in case the LED is bad. Nothing I do can get this simple feature to work.
