I was wondering if anyone has encountered this issue and knows of a way to override it. My company recently had our PBX vendor block the telephone number from going out on calls made from the building. As a result a couple of people have begun to experience problems when calling telephone numbers that do not accept private or blocked calls. Normally one can type *82 to override this but it does not work when dialing from within our PBX environment. Does anyone know of a feature access code or something similar that can be used?

have U tried inserting those digits in the all the routing patterns? I haven't had this problem, so haven't used this method myself.

P.S. For the best response to a question, read FAQ222-2244. Also give the type & version of your voice mail & pbx & preview your post to make sure it is complete & understandable. Please answer all questions so that I may have the info to assist you. Leaving a post on how you fixed the problem will also be appreciated.

Or you could get your vendor to set up a 2nd route with a different access code so when you need to display your number you can. This should not be a problem as I would guess that the vendor barred your number from within the route itself.
