I'm trying to reload the System Admin tool on a laptop and it is giving me an error

Windows 8

Error = Path is too long

Anyone know how to get past this? (if at all)

Have you got the absolute newest version from MOL?

It's only fairly recently the SaD tool has become supported on Win8.

I get the whole "path is too long" when I try to download a backup like 5 folders deep...maybe it's the same thing? See if you can redirect the install to the root of C:\ as a test.

I have dreamed a dream, but now that dream has gone from me.

@ NTEDave - Yes, tried newest version and many others besides

@ Hovus - Yes, we tried many different paths including the root directory

We've opened a ticket with Mitel and they were unsuccessful as well
