I am experiencing a problem with wordperfect 12,the feature document compare keeps on getting corrupt. This application is installed on a windows xp OS,with SP2. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but no luck. I have also tried rebuilding the entire PC,but no luck. It works fine when it is first installed, but when the user logs off, or reboots,or shuts down wordperfect gets corrupted. Does anyone have any ideas?

Try installing a generic printer like the Apple LaserWriter and set its port to File. Then set this as you default printer.
Then, open wp and each document and save. Your Tools, Settings has options to reformat the document for the current printer. Now, does compare still cause problems?
WP is known to be printer sensitive. The winxp installation corrupts the printer drivers. It is often necessary to delete all printer AND print drivers and then reinstall after winxp2.
