Hi,

We have been upgrading our IP Office Server edition to the latest version. We went the route of backup / create new / restore from backup. After all is imported, we see connection to the Voicemail Pro is established on the system but when we try to connect to voicemail or use its functionality it does not work. In the VMPro logs we see this:
awaiting load of config access denied.

This is strange since the system is connected to VMPro fine.

Any suggestions? We are awaiting feedback from Avaya but it takes some time...

Thanks.

Tom

Yes, it is enabled. Server has been rebuilt again. Same issue.

More than likely a password issue. That whole 31 character thing in R11.1. I would enable Websocket Ping-Pong in Monitor and see if it give you more information. It is on the System tab.

Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.*

You upgraded from what version to what version? Rather fundamental information when rasing any upgrade issue.

And what type of server - physical PC or virtual?

Why did you take that route rather than a simple transfer ISO upgrade? The backup/restore is only normally supported for rolling back to the orignal release when an upgrade by ISO has failed.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

The ping - pong was working fine.

The upgrade was attempted as per the guidance from Avaya, from 11.0.4.5, ISO upgrade is not supported on the VM.

The recommendation from Avaya is to go to the latest release as it apparently resolves the issue we were experiencing. We will see if this helps.

Thanks for your comments and suggestions.
