Issue with picking up second call

Im having an issue with my phone being able to pick up a second line ringing in on my hunt group when im on a call.....anyone experience this>?

Its a 406 newest 4.14 software
 
How many "Call Appearance" buttons do you have?

Is reserve last CA ticked, call waiting on/off?

There are like a b c d e f lines, reserve last ca is not on, and call waiting-im not sure what you mean by this.
 
call waiting on the hunt group. it presents calls to your call appearance even if you are on one already

Never argue with an idiot. bystanders won't be able to tell the difference.
 
It says collective call waiting for ring mode.
 
what version are you on? Does it happen to all members of the HG? Remove user, save, recreate.

When the second line (ca) comes in, do you press the second line or do you put it on HOLD first?

If you press the second line immediate, the first line will be put on HOLD automaticly.

I dont know what they do, i think they just click that second line.

even so, wouldnt it work either way?
 
Make sure that the phone is ringing when active, perhaps it's not set that way, and they are not seeing the flashing?

(I hate this place too)
 
Its ringing when active, they can see the call coming in, just cant pick it up.

 
Using a button/PhoneManager/SoftConsole?

No buttons, just call appearences, no PM or SC....isnt it weird?!

Perhaps a reboot is in order.??? I didnt see anything in the tech bulletin about this issue for 4.2.14

Are the buttons programmed thru the user rights?
What typ of phones?

I would reboot... What kind of phones are they? I am running all 5410's on a 4.2.14 and it works just fine..
as long as the hunt group is collective call waiting.
 
They are 5610's
Except the cordless. not sure what that is i think its a transTalk 9040
 
delete user, save, reboot, recreate. there are features a user can activate that don't show in manager. *00 clears well known ones.
 
I had her *00 this didnt do the trick. Rebooted, rrecreated, WTF!
 
Aero, have you witnessed her attempting to do this? Some people have to be treated like children, and will swear blind they are doing what you say when in reality they can't be bothered and just string you along, until you turn up and do it within 10 secs and then hit them with the handset (at least in your head) as they say "well that's what I was doing and it didn't work" or "I thought you said blah blah blah" :)

This is funny, I dont know what is going on, they are 2300 miles from me, i hate this job sometimes.
