Hello All.

Just put in a New IP Office with Version 9.0.4.0 build 965 with a 12 channel PRI, I cant get the mobile answer guard feature to work. If the cell phone is turned off and I have the mobile answer guard set to 1 second the ip office never pulls the call back to the ip office vm pro mailbox! I upgraded to 9.0.5.0 972 to see if that helped, it did not still does not work.

Then to rule out some sort of corruption I tried wiping the IP Office and formatting the card with 9.0.5.0 972 and programming only the basics to test this. Still no luck. The mobile twinning works great if the cell phone is turned on, the ip office pulls the call back and dumps it in the vm pro mailbox like the customer wants, but if the cell phone is off or has no coverage then the ip office never pulls the call back to the ip office vm box.

Thank you for your responses in advance.

1 second is not enough, when calling a mobile/cell even once connected to line and digits are dialled it takes a number of seconds before it actually starts to ring, you need to test how long that is and adjust accordingly :)

In R8.1 (I haven't tested in R9.0 or R9.1) Mobile answer guard only works for users who are logged in on an extension.
It doesn't work for users without a coupled extension.

Thank you for your response. I have tried everything between 1 and 5 seconds. With no luck. This system has a PRI, In my experience it seems like it starts to ring with a second.

So your saying mobile answer guard will only work if the user has a physical desk phone that is logged in? I have only tested this with a phantom user that did not have a desk phone, the user had a extension but did not have a desk phone associated with it. What exactly do you mean by "coupled extension"? Thank you very much.
