Issue with FDN to Voice Mail

I have a secretary phone that goes to voice mail after four rings. The issue is that her boss's phone is set to HUNT and FDN to her phone. His number rolls over to her number, but it just continues to ring and does not go to her voice mail. The MARP is correct on each phone. Any ideas?

oh, you just said lol. HIS set controls FDN/Hunt if his number is marped on his set, so it will never reach VM.

Not sure if I am not explaining it correctly or not. If someone calls the boss and he does not answer the phone it is set up to roll to the secretary, if she does not answer then we want it to go to her voice mail. His phone does roll to her phone and it is ringing on her phone, but if she does not pick it up it continues to ring forever. It should go to her voice mail after four rings. Her phone works like it should if someone calls her. Her voice mail works.

SFA - Secondary Forward Allowed.
If set to denied, it will not perform a second forward and will stay at the first phone forwarded to.

Would the SFA be on the Secretary phone, the Boss's phone or both?

I put SFA on the secretary phone and I got a recording for the boss saying that his number did not subcribe to a voice mail box. I put SFD on the secretary phone and put SFA on the boss's phone and when it rolls to her number it just rings and rings. I put SFA on both phones and I get the recording for the boss's phone saying that his number does not subcribe to a voice mail box. If I call the secretary phone it works correctly and goes to her voice mail.

SFA does not seem to fix the issue.

do you want the calls to go to bosses voice mail box if the assistant doesn't answer?

If you want the bosses number to go to the secretary's voicemail, add his DN in the secretary's VM box. I am able to do this in Call Pilot and that will illiminate the message saying that his number does not subscribe to voicemail.

Program 500 set, give it a unique DN, MARP it, HUNT/FDN to voice mail. Assign that DN to a key on secretary's TN (label it something like Bossman's Rollover). Then HUNT/FDN boss' phone to that DN. In CallPilot, open her mailbox, and add the DN of the 500 set you just programmed to extension DN's.

What should happen is someone calls boss -> ring/no answer -> hunts to that 500 set you built and rings on the key appearance you programmed on the secretary's TN -> ring/no answer -> hunts to voice mail and into secretary's mailbox.

Adding the DN to the secretary phone VM box in Call Pilot did the trick.
