Just wondering if anyone has had this issue before and if so what they did to solve it...

I have a B179 SIP conference phone that connects and registers to the system just fine. However, after a few days it becomes unregistered. For now, I have been solving it by changing the IP address back and forth between two static IPs. It seems that every time I change the IP, it re-registers.

Any idea?

Sounds very much like an IP address conflict.

Agreed. Are your "static" IPs in the DHCP pool?

I believe the static IPs are in the pool of available IPs. I don't manage the DHCP server for this client so I wouldn't know for sure. Would making a reservation for the IP of the phone work the same?

Either stop using static IPs or ask for a list of static IPs which are not in the list of IPs provided via DHCP.

2.4 firmware is out so you might try that also?

It's only dialtone!!!
