Sorry, but my access knowledge is a little limited.

I have designed this form with buttons to run mail merge with a word template and fill that document with information in the form in access. The form is linked to the respective table.

I have added several text boxes for user input as that was the primary goal.

Here is my problem, the keyboard shortcut (Tabbing to the next box) jumps a lot. The whole form is in 12 Tabs, with at least 10-20 text boxes for input.

On for example, I have 10 text input boxes on Tab 1, when I start on that tab, on hitting TAB once, I get to the first box on the grid, but when I hit it again, it goes to the last box instead of the second and then the way down.

I know this is a very small problem and can be resolved. But my brain is completely shut right now.

The only thing I am able to think is to re-do the whol form with adding them in order, which would take quite some time and I dont even get paid enough to do this, let alone work on modifying the whole thing.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks a lot in advance.

P.S. Sorry for the long question, just didnt want any one to get confused what I am trying to do.

There is a Tab Index property that you can update manually. You can also select View->Tab Order from the menu (in design view) and move the order around. The Tab Order dialog has a handy "Auto Order" button that orders from top to bottom, left to right.

I might have figured this out. I think under Property Sheet, under All, there is something called Tab Index, clicked on that and got this Tab Order box. Hopefully this takes care. Will monitor this post for an hour more just in case that was not it. thanks for looking.

And thanks for this great resource.

thanks Dhookom. You posted right when I was writing mine.

Thanks again.
