Issue logging in

Has anyone ever seen an issue where as trying to login into a CM you get a 15 - 20 second delay before seeing the "Login:" prompt?

it's not the program i am using (ProComm) i took a laptop & went directly to the switch & i still get this delay.

You should not get a delay.

Check the /etc/resolv.conf file for the existence of an invalid, unreachable nameserver.

Do you get the same delay if you try procomm to a CLAN ip-address and a SAT port defined in "change ip-services" form?
