Hi,
I am getting fowllowing error message when I am trying to publish a report.

Retrieve Error There was an error while retrieving data from the server: Failed to read data from report file C:\WINDOWS\Temp\CURRENCY REBATE.rpt. Reason: The table could not be found. File C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\tmpreport\~ci7b45a70c1626b0.rpt.

The report is running fine in Crystal Designer. Also the business view is fine. I am using Business Objects XI R2, Crystal Report XI R2 and same as business view manager.
Also I was able to publish other reports which are using same business view.
ANy help will be appreciated.

this is not really a solution but have you tried just creating a simple report based on that table just bringing back fields from that?

Sometimes reports do get corrupted and the best thing is to recreate step by step. Not sure how much processing etc and formatting you have in this one though?

When publishing a report, BO XI checks to see if it can access the database the report uses. If there are any problems it may not let you complete the publication.

What type of database are you using? Is the server where BO XI is running set up to access that specific database? If necessary, is the database client software installed? If it's an ODBC connection, is it set up on the report server? These pieces don't automatically happen - you have to do them manually.

What user ID do the BO XI services use? The default is the local services ID on the server where the software is installed. If your database is on a network, this ID probably doesn't have access to "see" the database on the network because it doesn't have access to the network at all. We run our BO XI using a specific network ID that is set up specifically for BO XI - it's a "services" ID and is configured so that the password never expires.
