Hey everyone, busy weekend in the lab with lots of learning taking place. I've gotten my CS1000 all up and running, and am trying to get a T1 QSIG trunk between it and a Cisco CallManager. I have gotten it working somewhat (D-Channel established, calls from Cisco side to Nortel side arrive at their desired extension) but I can't get the calls to go from the CS1000 to the CallManager. When a 4 digit extension on the Cisco system is dialed from a Nortel set, after the last of the 4 digits is entered, I get a fast busy signal.

Here's all the information I could gather for troubleshooting purposes:

If anyone has ideas as to what might be going wrong, suggestions would be hugely appreciated.

2 things I'd play with. In your cdp change flen from 0 to 4.
Try messing with frl on your rli.

I played around with it for a couple hours on Sunday, changed the NCOS and FRL settings around in a bunch of places. s(I really need to learn how the ESN portion of the switch works) Finally later on I was playing around in Element Manager, and found a checkbox that disabled NCOS relating to the trunk and my calls went straight through. I think alot of this comes down to the switch having a configuration that I didn't quite wipe the last bits of out.

1 = 1
2 = 2
3 = 3 etc... that allows ncos and frl to work... 1st thing i do is dial acod plus digits....... once that works the use 86 and 87 to set up distant steering codes...
