I got several adware viruses. I am having a problem cleaning off an ISearch bar off of Internet Explorer. Any ideas on how to get this off? I have use Spy Sweeper and it will still not take it off.

Thanks,
Chad

Try Spybot Search and Destroy available from here

Follow the advice from Andy, plus, have a look here for manual removal instructions:

Does this relate to your other thread?
If so, you should follow carrr's instructions there and then post a new hjt log in that thread.

It's 10 O'Clock ( somewhere! ).
Are your registry and data backed up?

this is a difficult malware/spyware,If you boot into safe mode like ifix1 said then do a regedit, click on the edit button and click find, and do a search for the exact name of the spyware(Isearch or Isearch.exe), when you find it delete the string and if it is in a key by itself delete the entire key also then hit F3 or continue searching untill all keys are removed. once you search through the entire registry and delete every key(that has to do with your spyware), do a search on your computer (c drive) for isearch and delete any that match your search, then restart to normal mode, all spyware should be gone.... this works with any spyware file jsut change the name. for the ones that ad-aware and spy-bot won't pick-up Hope that Helps! -Joe

If you do not know how to remove BHO's using Spybot via the Advanced mode you can use this tool to remove the ISearch bar
Also download adaware SE and run a full system scan. You can download that here.
If you are still having problems download Hijackthis and post the log file here.
