Hi Folks

I have been asked to change a card in a 2 shelf isdx the faulty extension card is on 0114, from memory i think its the following procedure, please advise if correct or not.

Down card 0114 plug umbilical into card and to shelf interface card, swap card up card.

Is that correct or am i wrong?

That would be correct.
DCD 0114
or
CDN 0114 for 'courtesy down'

Plug in the umbilical and remove the card
Plug umbilical into new card and insert preferably using the inserter

Thanks sbcsu one other question just shelf 0 = the bottom or top shelf?

Well in the example 0114 it would be shelf 1 and slot 14

If the shelves are not physically labelled I normally make sure by LSLT - list the slots and compare physically.
