Hello, does anybody knows if it is possible to connect my nt1 to my isdn 128 pci modem wireless? Is it possible to connect a computer for using fax and ansewering machine wireless to nt1?

While there may be a wireless S0 (S interface) entender out there, it would not be easy to find one.

Trying to extend the S interface from the NT1 to a distant ISDN device is not possible using off the shelf wirelss technology (these are packet based nbo circuit switched, but that is only one of the possible issues).

Some options you might have are:

1) Replace your ISDN TA with one that supports Ethernet (something like a Pipe 50 for example). You would then connect this to a wireless access point and via 802.11b/g computers could connect for access to the net via the WAP.

You can also take the POTS ports of the TA and connect to a wireless phone, for example. You could also connect these to a gizmo that extends phone lines over power lines to get it to rooms where there is no exisitng wiring.

I hope this helps.

I am using a 3com 3c892A ISDN router. It is one of the easiest units to set up I have ever run accross.
I added a wireless router between the 3COM and my pc and everything works great.
For some reason I have lost a small percentage of bandwidth compared to the Pro TA and I cannot trace the cause.
Look to Ebay for the 3Com and expect to pay up to $179.00 for a buy it now item. 3Com still has all of the software faqs and help available even though this is a discontinued item. My ISDN now acts exactly like a broad band connection.

I am out of range for anytype of faster service other than ISDN. Our phone co. is installint it next week and I would like to be able to hook up my powerbook and go wireless thru the house and also hook up my daughters computer which is a desktop. I am looking at purchasing the 3 Com 892A ISDN router. Do I also need to purchase a wireless router also? I will be using a Mac Powerbook and a Mac Desktop.

THANKS
