Hi,
i have some problems how to set up an ISDN BRI Line correctly. I should be a normal wcbri station (connected on a TN556 Board) with etsi standard. Normally an ISDN line has 2 B-Channels, but i am currectly only able to use 1 Channel at a time. I have a Fax-Server ISDN card connected to it and want that the card uses the 2 Channels simultaneously.
How can i do this?
I hope someone can help me !

Try to use data module with type wcbri instead of station.

Hi
:)
Station form "into the studio"...

Hi Dimas,
what do you mean by "Station form into the studio"?
I have tried to use data-module instead of station -> same problem. I can set up a connection with 2 channel (channel-bundling) to ONE calling-number, but not 2 connections to different numbers.

Sorry RKuehn, i mean to ask you to show us screen form of wcbri station .
Did you set data-module: yes on first page and assign data module number on last page?
Have you option of double B-channel dialing in your fax-server software.
What speed of fax connection you have?
Does your outside channel provider support isdn-calls with more than 64 kbps speed?

RKuehn, Have you got this working yet? If not then paste the station configs here so we can look at them.

Roche.

Hi !
thanks for your answers. At the moment i try to make a tracing file from our Fax-Server Software (that i was told by the tech-support from the fax-server manufactorer).
Perhaps a little silly question: How do i paste the station form in here? I am not able to copy it in DSA.

best regards

Use the emulator within DSA and type the command display data xxxx. Then with the mouse highlight the station data, right click and select copy then paste it in tek-tips. Do the same for both pages in the station form.

The copy-paste doesn't work, perhaps my DAS Release 1.0.17 German is too old. I do not get an pop-up menu when i click right in the emulator window :-(

Hi,

Is it a Brooktrout faxcard? If so try configuring your
BRI-port into a BRI-trunk.

Regards

Hi,
it is a faxcard from ferrari-electronic.
Now it works!! i have replaced the TN556 Circuit Pack, it seems, that the BRI Line card was defective.
Thanks a lot,
rigobert

Hi,
We are Mauro & Nick from Milan (Italy).
We suggest You try to config the Tn556 board as a Bri trunk and add a trunk.
Then You can route the fax calls to this trunk by aar or ars dig. conv. .
In this way You can use many than one incoming fax number.
Keep in mind the You can config the board as staions/datamodules or as bri trunk.
