I have an error on Sig Group 305. The error type is 0 with aux data of 0. Manual says run test Sig group x. I you find nothing run test sig group x long. I ran both tests and only see an abort error code of 1132 on test 639. This is a normal abort according to documentation because I do not have a secondary d channel for this sig group. I find no errored seconds over the last 24 hour period when I list measurements on the ds1 board. I have re-built the ds1 board, trunk group, and sig-group. The trunks are operational and in service, this is not service affecting. It is affecting my mind however, the warning is driving my nuts, Any suggestions?

OK, I'll bite.

First, try "test sig 305 long clear". The "clear" option on the command line is required to clear some alarms. It will also let you know if it could not clear it.

One question, how many T1's is the sig grp controling?

Sounds like it's just complaining about not having a secondary d-channel. You could see if Avaya has a patch if that's the case.

After that, since it's not service affecting, find the relaxing beverage of your choice :).

I have done all you suggested, including re-building the sig group, trunk group, and DS1. Reseated the board, swapped boards, swapped cables, etc. The sig group is set up for FAS, it only has the primary d-channel. The only thing I haven't done is have that drink, It's 5 o'clock somewhere. Thanks
