Hi Folks,

I need some help from you guys. I am having 11C with PRI and ITG cards. As the customer is moving from one ISDN service provider to another, i would like to know the following things.

1. in the cutover process do i need to do any configuration changes in the PRI lines.

2. do i need to take any backups before the activity.
3. can i knw exact procedure for cutover

Thanks for your help.

Regards

you need to find out the switch type of the new provider.. that determines IFC, as well as the trunk type for the far end..

the ifc has to match the far end on both the rdb and the dch.. IF that needs to change, out all the trunks, out the rdb, out the dch, add the dch, rdb and trunks back.. disable the msdl card and enl msdl x fdl to write the d change to that card, ld 60 enll x to bring the loop up..

total keyboard time should be around 15 minutes. (but i've done a few more then some people)
