I use isdn public-unknown-numbering to send a DID information -
I have 3 ranges of did 3800, 3900 with the same prefix 7763800 and 7763900, and the last one is 6583500. When
Users that are in the 7763800 - 3899 and users in 6583500 range dial outside it sends the DID and that is what displayed on my cell caller ID - However the 3900 DIDs do not show the caller ID -- it shows the cpompany's main number as an ID.
I checked station settings on 3800 and 3900 all settings are identical = TN = 1 cor= 1 and cos = 1
I have some of the 3900 DIDs that have TN = 2 setting on them but the system is treating all 3900 - 3999 the same with out displaying the did as a caller ID

I would try putting in the entire DID number. For example...you dont have to do it for all of them but just a few.

Thanks fo rthe tip -- I tried it first but I will do it again and see and I will update it ... infact let me see -- I will just do it and put the result -- NO Result ...

Try doing a trace on the stations and see if you're even going out on the same trunk group. (It must be an isdn trunk group to work.)

Do: list trace station 38xx

And then call your cell phone. Make note of the trunk that it's seizing and going out on.

Now, do: list trace station 39xx

And then call your cell phone. Is the trunk that it uses different? If so, is it an ISDN trunk? If not, that would be your problem.

Are you getting the 3900-3999 DID's from a different telco provider? i.e. 3800' from SBC and 3900's from Sprint?

In the future everything will work...

I would put a call into your Bell rep and ask if they are blocking the DID range..

It must be a bell issue. You can see the "calling party" number in both traces, and they are both correct. I can't see what else would cause that.

The easier way is to contact your telephone company and make them display the DID you want for you. It saved me a lot of time just make sure you have it setup on all the Trunks.
