I use isdn public-unknown-numbering to send a DID information -
I have 3 ranges of did 3800, 3900 with the same prefix 7763800 and 7763900, and the last one is 6583500. When
Users that are in the 7763800 - 3899 and users in 6583500 range dial outside it sends the DID and that is what displayed on my cell caller ID - However the 3900 DIDs do not show the caller ID -- it shows the cpompany's main number as an ID.
I checked station settings on 3800 and 3900 all settings are identical = TN = 1 cor= 1 and cos = 1
I have some of the 3900 DIDs that have TN = 2 setting on them but the system is treating all 3900 - 3999 the same with out displaying the did as a caller ID

The XXX under CPN would be the area code. Make sure the folks that have those 3500 #'s are calling out on ISDN-PRI's... The X under Trnk Grp would be the ISDN Trunk...

Hope this helps,
Chris

So what you are saying is leave the CPN Prefix as 6 digit with areacode xxx776 ?? or write the whole 10 digit ...??

It is best to have 10 digits in the CPN ext length field. Also you can leave the trunk group field blank as well. This will allow ALL calls going out to have caller id, regardless of trunk. Make sure all your trunk groups have "Send number:" on page two set to Y.

In the future everything will work...

Just like is listed. 6-digits under CPN prefix with 802776 if you're from Vermont, 210658 if your from New Jersey, etc... and as NX01 mentioned make sure Send Number is Y on page 2.

Hope this helps,
Chris

Just like before it works on the 3800 and 3500 DIDs but not on the 3900 DIDs ... I checked my trunk group and it is set to Yes ... Any other options please ...

This i sa scrren shot of what I am doing ---

If I leave it as one digit "3" I get the eror message "Ext code inconsistent with dialplan

exactly... you must be using 2nd digit dialing. 3 might also be used for either FAC or DAC, that's why I mentioned the format 38, and 39.

Does 3526 and 3527 send the numbers?

What do you have 3 for in your "cha dial ana"? 3 should be length= 4 and type = ext

In the future everything will work...

3526 and 3527 work and 38 works also
the only on ethat does not work is 3900 regardles how many digits I picked 2, 4

Ah... I wonder if it has something to do with your tenant paritioning. You mentioned you have some that are TN 2 - question would be why?

If you change them all to TN 1 then does it work?

Make sure the one you're testing is Tenant 1.

Thanks,
Chris

On the 2nd page of the station form for extension 3900, what is the entry for the field labeled,
"Per Station CPN - Send Calling Number?"

If it's no, then that would be your problem. You'd want to change it to "yes" or blank.

Chris --
I changed one st (DID) to the same TN which is TN 1 but did not work == do I have to change all of them first before I can get this to work ....???

Thanks for all your help ..

Well, I wouldn't change them all... Let's see if someone over night can come up with another idea before you go and do that.

Out of curiousity, how many extensions are on TN 2? And do you need Tenant Partitioning?

Thanks and we'll chat tomorrow.
Chris
