It's been a while since I've had to order a new voice PRI (in the US) and I'm being asked some questions on the data gathering/provisioning form I have never heard of. This new circuit will be terminated into a G450. The questions I'm being asked about:

wink or immediate ?

NUMBER OF DIGITS IN (this is the number of digits that your equipment will return to the network for identification):

MF or DTMF?

Glare Yield: CO or PBX ?

Glare Resolution -- Ascending or decending ?

Wink start is by far the most common.

Number of digits is usually asking how many digits you want to receive (i.e. extension number length), but that looks like they are asking how many digits you are going to send for outbound caller ID. I would verify that with the provider.

DTMF

PBX almost always yields to glare.

I have always been told by the providers that the CO uses ascending and the PBX needs to be set to descending. However, I just spoke to a customer who was told just the opposite. I would just say the PBX will use descending if the provider is actually asking.

Lastly, National 1 or National 2 ? I don't think it matters, but what is the config difference, if any in CM that would need to be made?

National 2 (NI2) is by far the most common. That would be protocol B on the DS1 form.

with Spain being in Europe you will want the etsi protocol on your trunk and sig group form on supplementary services this will be C , i know this from experience(bitter experience i may add)
