I want to program an ISDN PRI E1 on an NSU at SX-2000 LW 34.2 . I've programed before with IMAT but on cards PRI E1 MC269AA on DSU to connect with our TELCO's and it worked OK.
We don't have any room in our DSU so we connected an NSU on our SX-2000.
I have a question :
1. When I try to make a new database in IMAT to save on the NSU I chose at the first window at "System Type" Universal NSU- is that OK ? and at the Config/System Configuration/Site Options when I chose at "System Type" "Universal NSU" at "Connected Platform" I don't have active the SX-2000 choices , only 3300 ICP and SX-200 EL/ML/ICP.
If I chose at "System Type" : "PRI Card" then I have active the SX-2000 choices at "Connected Platform" but I want this database for NSU.
Pls. tell me what I must chose and if this can be done (ISDN PRI E1 on NSU connected on SX-2000 like MC269AA card on DSU).
We have IMAT ver. 7.3.0.10
Thank You !

new database choose nsu x.x

config screen
universal nsu
system type sx2000

Program exactly like a pri/t1 but e1 will give you 30 channels

That was the choice I've been thinking too, but (as I said before) it can't be done : at config screen if I choose universal nsu I can't choose SX2000 - the option became not active (greyed).
I have IMAT 7.3.0.10 - can be a version issue (bug)?

What version NSU are you selecting? There are some NSU releases that are 3300ICP only, that may be your problem. I have no issues creating a new DB for a 1.7 NSU for SX2000, using IMAT version 7.7.03 (latest release, comes with 3300ICP 8.0.9.18 software).

Thank You all !
It was a version issue..
