Hi,

I installed an IPO Small Office for the UK. (5410 phones)

Everything seems to work, except when they call out (using the ISDN lines), there is lots of bad noise on the line.

ISDN lines are perfect because the old Panasonic does the job :)

Has it something to do with the 'TEI'? Used 0 and 127 but no result.

Or has it something to do with the ground connection?

Any idea?

Thanks a lot!

Hi K,

I think it is either a interconnection problem ( cabling ) or a synchronization problem.
As you mention the Panasonic i suppose the IPO is behind that system, maybe the Panasonic doesn't send sync info.

what happens when you call from extn to extn with the ISDN still connected to the IP office ? I have experienced similer at to sites with BRI.

Do they have ADSL on that line?
It could be the ADSL splitter wich is broken or not connected at all.
