Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to configure system for ISDN in the UK. BRI card is installed but unable to make outgoing or receive incoming calls.

In the ISDN settings, have you changed the TEI to fixed from automatic?

in the uk you will most likly find that it will alwasy need to be fixed not auto .

prg 143 . once you have changed it from its default of auto to fixed you will need to reboot the system .

also please make sure your not trying to connect a pri to a bri card ..

Thanks for the replies.

I'd changed the TEI from Automatic to fixed and hadn't remembered to reboot the system. Once system was rebooted, all was good. Thanks for the help.
