A strange issue on Incoming Calls from ISDN BRI Lines.
It is a new IP500v2 R9.1 with a combo BRI and a Phone2+BRI4 DaughterCard.
3 ISDN BRI Lines are connected and grouped from provider.
After power ON the system all incoming calls on all 3 BRI Ports are routing as it should one after another but only for the first 10 calls. The next incoming calls on ISDN BRI Port 2 aren't routing in the destination
System Status and monitor displays the call as it have been answered from Embedded VM (AA:xxx) and then displays Call Clearing with ISDN cause code 16 However in this case caller receiving ringback tone only.
Local provider says that thereis nothing wrong with their lines.
What do you think?

if find this very difficult to believe

The PRI card on the combo only supports 2 circuits (4 channels)!
where have you connected your 3rd ISDN2 circuit?

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

If you have 3 x ISDN circuits which is 6 channels.
Then you can have 6 simultaneous calls.

Are you saying it's only when non simultaneous cals are ring in and the 10th call received is not routing correctly.

First test each channel and make sure you can make and receive a call.

I had a system where channel 5,6 would not allow you to process the call properly.

I just unplugged the rj45 cable and reseated it.

Then the line started to work correctly.

#ipguru: as said there's a combo BRI together with a BRI4 Daughter Card seated on a Phone2 That means total capacity of the system: 4x2= 8 ISDN Channels
#Snowman: thanks for the response. It also happens when all of the 3 Lines are idle.
Both Incoming and Outgoing calls can take place on all 3 ISDN Ports/Lines. Somehow after aprox. 10 incoming answered calls the second ISDN Port is missing all of the incoming.

Carrier issue, calls are presented to the system, it doesn't suck them in, if they aren't coming in they aren't being presented :)

Prove it your self to see which channel is causing the issue .

Get your provider to test each channel ICR if you have a ISDN tester test it your self.
