We are trying to get a trunk working between our Quintum BX ISDN to SIP gateway and our MD110.
After trying many things, we are still unable to get the lines to work.

The ISDN gateway vendor requires
- Orientation: TE
- TEI: 0
- Protocoli: BRI ETSI

The md110 keeps returning the alarm

274 1 2 DIGITAL TRUNK, CLOCK MALFUNCTION (SLIP)

Any idea what we could try more? Below the rocap output. What is the meaning of the SIG setting? Would that be related?

thanks
Arjen

Hi,
please can you post also RODAP:ROU=3;
Looks like you have a Master/Slave Problem.
What MD110 release do you have ? TSW, BC12, BC11, or older ??

Hi

It seems, you should set up 2 different parts of your system:

1. Sync master/slave separation;
2. Telephony signalling master/slave separation.

Since the VoIP trunks are fundamentally asyncronous, then SIP gateway should take sync from md110. It's absolutely mandatory. See Quintum manual to order external syncronisation of gateway. It's the ONLY way to solve SLIP problem.
After sync tuning you may set up the services. See md110 lifehack attachment, it's installer's template ))
