Currently having a problem with an ISDN 30 line with a IP500.

Line will work fine, can make and receive calls without a problem and at random points the ISDN will just drop. Incoming calls are met with a message from the telco saying the line is busy and outgoing calls go nowhere. Channels are all listed as idle in System Status.

If I disconnect the cable to the ISDN, wait 20 seconds and reconnect the line comes back up.
If I restart the ISDN box the line comes back up.
If I restart the IP500 box the line comes back up.

Any ideas? Help!

Check your provider if they have CRC4 on or off, or just try to set your CRC4 on or off.

Then it won't work at all

It sounds like a clocking issue to me
Check with monitor and clear all and set all in the isdn tab
Show us when it happens again

What version do you have on your IPO?

If you're on 4.x you can check in System Status when this happens if you get any errors on your PRI line.

Peter, I had similar problems on a @home ISDN30 connection. I was able to call in and out, but my calls did get disconected randomly.
