Has anyone yet used iSCSI for tape backup?

I have a new farm of 5x 2003 enterprise servers (including Exchange and SQL)and want to back up to a single tape device (Probably a HP Ultrium 460)using a private gigabit ethernet network.

Possible devices I've located are
Sanrad V2000
Technomages dual SCSI to iSCSI

Has anyone used these or got any comments ? UK prices would be useful too....

Thanks

Rick.

Looks like no one else has looked in to this ??

What you could do is create a dedicated backup server. Connect a DLT Library to it.

And use a dedicated backup network to backup all the servers using CA Brightstore or Veritas backup..

Just an idea...
