hi
i have a home network on which runs windows 2000 ad server
i would like to know what options i have interms of installing ISA server, would it have to be a seperate machine or can i install it on win 2k drive (is it classed as a service or needs to be totally independant to my server pc)

ISA Server is a collection of services that run on the Windows 2000/2003 Server family (except maybe 2003 Web edition - i'm not sure about that).

Although it is not recommended, there is no reason it cannot be present on the same machine you are using.

However, as it does require a Server O/S and given that the ISA package is certainly not the cheapest solution, you may want to look for alternative solutions.
