I have clients using Xp messenger behind isa firewall. But they can only accept incoming calls for aidio and video. They can not invite any contact outside our LAN. Please let me know what do i have to do to let them invite contacts.
in Isa protocol definition and any thin else! we have an option that sets the direction of the request.
when u define a new protcol u should take care of its direction, your problem probably is about the direction of the protocol rule.
check it.
Hi Fifth Element and thanks a lot for your answer. But please let me know exactly what its going on. I have define Instant Messenger protocol in port 1863 tcp outbound as a primary connection and secondary connection for that port on UDP 5004 to 65535 to send/receive and receive/send. If you have done this before could you tell me if I have to open 1863 for inbound with the same secondary connections. I would appreciate very much your replyback. Thanks in advance.
all u have to do is that to use a network tracing software and check that what ports and which directions, u have to open.
