I am experimenting with an idea, but researching this has become quite the bear . . .

I want Access to, in response to user input, create various appointments in the calendar. Sometimes things will be double booked and that is fine, even normal - it's more for documentation purposes.

The Calendar table you get from Access appears worthless. Where is the start time, end time, etc???

Is there a solution? Every string started here with questions like this has not recieved a response.

I need someone to tell me it is/isn't possible, otherwise this could lead to much wasted time and heartache.

I've already hit the FAQ and keyword searches.

Thank you in advance. Brambojr

Have you tried searching the Access:VBA Forum? There were multiple threads about linking to an ActiveX calendar and to Outlook. Good Luck! Leslie

Thanks to both, I think those links will work out for me - it should still work in Outlook 2k.

Leslie, I like the signature . . .

Not familiar at all with Active X stuff so I kind of stay away from the stuff - at least for now.

Thanks to both of ya, I think I have what I need and a little inspiration to boot. Brambojr

i've used those links i gave you in my Access 2000 database with Outlook 2000, and they work for me. I was able to make appointments and tasks using those examples.

who knew that Microsoft would actually SOLVE your problems, not cause them?

good luck! -Matt
