Is there any way to reset an 8300 lsp from the stack or MG interface?

LSP in G700 on CM3.1.2. I cannot connect to it and I am looking for a way to reset it without having a secretary go in the server room and reseat the card. The MG is registered to the main MS. The MS wont let me busy/reset/release an ICC card. Resetting the stack and MG didn't help.

Is there a hidden command that can reset this board?

get into the MGC, and "reset module v1" should do it.

Thanks Mitch, but i don't see that command. I might be my firmware. I found this but it does not seem to do anything. the 8300 never misses a ping when I reset it.


MG-020-1(configure)# reset mm v1

This command will perform a hard reset.
Warning: An ICC was found in v1.
Do you want to continue (y/n)? y
