There is a switch (Interactive Intelligence) that can be connected to and instead of having it as a T1 group. The switch will emulate a DMS 100 but it requires that each PRI have a d-channel assigned to it. Is there any way of setting it up as such or not?
That's pretty much what I was asking, but can this be done if they are all part of the same route or trunk group? Or would they then have to be considered to be different groups? I am just trying to get some fact finding done before trying to connect the two switches. Thanks for the quick info though.
You can assign as many D-Channels to a route, but one per T1 Loop. I have some with just a primary and a backup and then others with a D-Channel on every T1 loop.
But just remember D-Channels are money and Nortel will sell you a whole lot of them.
