Hi,

I was wondering if there is any virtual environment simulating an Option 11c (or other type) where we can practise some settings. Ideally this would work with the OTM interface and the other interfaces for the switch.

Just a thought.

Anyone ever heard about something like that.

Thx

not out there that i know of, most traning i've seen uses a switch is the traning tool. i know most of us can't buy a spare, but your post is a little strange. i agree the best thing to do is learn a switch. the worse thing to do is learn a gui interface that may not work in 3 years.. otm is perfect if you don't need to know the switch, and don't care if it works exactly right... just my 2

About the only thing I can think of is to take a Nortel class. They aren't cheap, but probably the best hands on training you can get IMO. There you work on a live switch and is all hands on, at least the courses I have taken are. You can always proactice on your switch, but my opinion on that is if you dont know what smomething means, STOP, find out before proceeding.
