Hi,

Two Questions to the Forum readers:

1) We are planning on a giving a general percent increase to all our salaried and not hourly employees. Is there an SQR program within PeopleSoft that does this?

2) Has any firm that you are acquainted with outsourced their benefits admin? If so would could you let me know what loopholes/pitfalls we need to avoid for a successful project implementation.

Thanks Everyone.

I have never seen a PS program to increase all salaries for an employee population. If you find one let me know. I wrote an SQR to increase all salaried employees last year and we are going to use it again this year so if you have some questions let me know.

I actually have dealt with several different methods for doing this. It sounds as though you just what a flat X% increase for all salaried employees. If they are all full time this is a fairly straight forward process. The variance is mostly within different companies method of salary planning. Such as :are all if the increases of the same type (or are some bonus, promo...etc) ?; are all of your increases the same percent ? I have written programs to handle all of these variations. If you would be interested in receiving help, please let me know.

Hi Zuke,

Thanks for your posting and yes I would appreciate if you can help us resolve our mass salary change programs.

Thanks,
