hi, using windows 7 on ID CS4.
question: i'm making a pdf from an Indesign file.
however, it won't embed certain words because of font restrictions. I've gone over with a different font but I still get an error regardig restrictions. So my question is say I am looking for a fond "crapola" and want to find out all words with that particular font. ..is there a way to find out?

Hello,

Go to the edit menu and choose find change

See that more options is checked.

At the bottom you have two parts Find Format and Change format.

At the right of these options You see a small T with a looking glass, click on it.

Now you have the option at the left hand side of this window to choose your font family under the options Basic character Formats.

If you want to change it you have the same option under the change format.

Be sure to check afterwards if you have no overset text or layout changes.

good luck

Thank you.. The Type Menu>find font did the trick.
awesome. One more thing learned about Indesign!. Nikky
