Is there a way to forward another phones voicemail to a different phone

I have a Unity voice mail system. We have a user that has left the department that has a main 800 number tied to their old extension. Is there a way to have this voice mail box notification to show up on another phone where someone currently sits? Is there a way to forward this voice mail to another phone?

If there is what is the procedure step by step.

Probably just easier to forward their phone to a person who can answer the calls. This way it ends up in that persons voicemail if not answered. Not the 800 number phone.

I think it depends on what kind, and what version, of Unity you have - earlier versions always used the first redirecting number, and on newer versions where you can adjust it, it changes it for everyone. If you forward the line to someone who can answer it, at least it will have a chance of being answered - if it goes to Unity, it will probably end up in the original mailbox, but you can add the number of the person who is supposed to be responding as an alternate extension in the mailbox, and they will get mwi notification.

Mary Beth, that would apply to FNA rules. If its a Forward All, it never reverts to the original dialed number mailbox. Also, you would want to add the extension to the MWI not as an Alternate extension if you want the light to come on.
