We have some users using the Web Intelligence 2.5 (InfoView) to create some reports but whenever there is a change in the universe which does not affects the reports, we will use BO to open the .wqy file and change the universe. But after changing the universe, BO does not allow us to save the file as .wqy. This happens when the universe file name is change. Is there a better way?

Is there a way to convert BO file .rpt to .wqy?

Try this......
1. Open the Webi report/s in Business Objects
2. Point the Query to the new location
3. Save the document as a Business Query Document <report name>.bqy
4. Rename the document to a WebIntelligence Document <report name>.wqy
5.Test the new Webi report/s
6. Replace the old reports on the webi server with the new ones.
