Is there a way can demote a backup

Is there a way can demote a backup domain controler to just me a plain server,i know u can promote to primary and demote from primary to backup but iam not sure if there is a way to demote from backup to none?...thanks

Try this link: and look for u-promote. It can demote a PDC or a BDC to a standalone server, and vice-versa. Hope it helps. There is always an explanation!
But maybe we don't know it.
The truth is out there!
