Hi, using winxp, CS3

so, is there a way to close opened panels with a keyboard shortcut and not have to go up to the small arrow to slide them to close?

Nikky

um......
let me clarify.
I do know that we can assign the shortcuts as Eugenetyson suggests. but..

I am looking for to make one to collapse any of the menus that are open at the dock. So, keyboard shortcut for "expand dock", "collapse dock", if any menu open, collapse with keyboard shortcut.

Does that clarify what I'm asking? Thanks.

Nikky

Well there was a tip in there for you Nicole, pity you didn't figure it out yourself.

I did say you can assign keyboard shortcuts for any part of indesign.

Edit>Keyboard Shortcuts

Product Area:
Views, Navigation

Open/Close all panels in side tabs

Open/Close panels in left side tabs

Open/Close panels in right side tabs

Can all be added a keyboard shortcut of your liking.

I recommend you install this plugin for finding Keyboard shortcuts
in INDesign

Thank you Eugenetyson.

Hey I was "this close" to getting it!

:)
