Hi, I've been working with mySQL and PHP for about 3 days now, but I am already very familiar with perl so the conversion to PHP was easy. Anyway, because I run Windows 98 on a family computer, there's really no way I can run an uninterrupted server fo mySQL. I was wondering is there are any companies that allow me to host my mySQL server on their servers (for free perferrably, but I'm willing to pay too.) I really dont have access to a dedicated server and I wrote a forum in perl that I want to convert into PHP/mySQL. Thank you.

The only places I can tell you, is about payment ( :( )

1)pair.com
2)hostway.com

I am usging them the past 2 years think they are the best:)

Stay away from hostway, they are good but costly, I use topclasshost.com and they are cheap, and you get your own database on their mySQL server, which is all you need. PHP too, of course.
