Working in CR10 on Oracle.

You know when you add tables to a report in the database expert, I'd like to know if there is a difference between these 2 and if it would change the results of a report :

- (DB) SRMISPROD
(TABLE) SRMIS_REQUEST
- (DB) SRMISPROD
(TABLE) SRMIS___ASSIGNMENT_TRACKING

Vs.

- (DB) SRMISPROD
(TABLE) SRMIS_REQUEST
(TABLE) SRMIS___ASSIGNMENT_TRACKING

I ask because I am still stuck on a problem I have posted before. For some reason, whenever I link the 2 tables above with a left outer join, I get duplicate entries. This is in Crystal Report 10 and it looks like the first entry.

I opened an old report today to view the subreport and it showed the second entry. This report was however done in Crystal Report 8.5 and saved in 10 after upgrading. In this report the entries are not duplicated, every incident only appears once and there is no formula or anything specific that is different than my new report.

I know my problem is linked to the 2 tables because I report on incidents on one subreport and get a number but on another subreport I report on reassigned incidents which also prints the incidents and the numbers do not match, some incidents are counted more than once even if I choose the 'Select Distinct Record' option.

This is probably a bit hard to understand as I am confused by it not working properly...

Thank you,
Phil
