Is there a better way to code for IE 6???

Ok so I have been writing lots of code and I like the way that Fire Fox gives me good errors. I am able to correct problems really fast. IE 6 is not that good (I want to say that it blows but I will try and keep my language clean). Are there any 3rd party programs that can give me good errors in IE like what Fire Fox has?

Install "Microsoft Script Debugger" and enable error reporting on all javascript errors in IE's options

Yea I have that but it does leave a bit to be desired.

I think the answer you're looking for is "no".

When it comes to designing a page you're really better off using firefox. All the plug-ins and tools along with the far superior error messages make firefox the ideal development platform.

You could use firebug lite. Firebug works great with firefox. I believe the lite version ( for IE ) does support console logging etc.

Personally, I find the best debugger for IE is Visual Interdev. While it's not free (like the MS script debugger), you can probably 'find' it around (or, if you've an MSDN subscription, it comes with it).

It gives a far better debugger, better 'watch' facilities, a much better UI, and a whole load of other stuff as well.
