Is my 2900 xl switch dead

Hi,

I have a 2600 cisco switch which just displays nothing but red lights when I boot the switch. It used to work temporarily before displaying all red lights and not working, however now, as soon as it's booted up all you get is a row of red LEDs.

Any way to recover? Failing that, I'd have to use a linksys wrt54g with dd-wrt firmware.
